# Cloud Content Platforms

Cloud content platforms combine file storage with collaboration features and provider-managed APIs. Mover connects directly to Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and SharePoint through OAuth.

Create the connection with an account that can reach every source or destination item in scope. The account's provider permissions still apply when Mover uses it. Saving an OAuth connection does not grant access that the account does not already have.

These platforms can impose API rate limits, and some represent files differently from an ordinary filesystem. Review the provider page before running a dry run:

* [Box](/connections/cloud-content-platforms/box.md) documents permissions, folder-size performance, throttling, and the destination file-size limit.
* [Dropbox](/connections/cloud-content-platforms/dropbox.md) documents throttling and provider filename or file-type restrictions.
* [Google Drive](/connections/cloud-content-platforms/google-drive.md) documents Google Workspace file conversion, duplicate filenames, unsupported path characters, and listing performance.
* [OneDrive](/connections/cloud-content-platforms/onedrive.md) documents personal and business account connections.
* [SharePoint](/connections/cloud-content-platforms/sharepoint.md) documents throttling, locked files, and the way SharePoint can modify an uploaded Office file.

Mover has no provider-specific concurrency setting for these connections. Use [Performance and Rate Limits](/migration-behavior/performance-and-rate-limits.md) to plan large migrations and interpret slow runs.
